With heavenly hosts,
and angelic ranks,
We lift our hearts,
and give Thee thanks.
Until that bright,
and glorious day,
when temporal life,
finds eternal array,
When over we cross,
Jordan’s river banks,
still we praise,
and give Thee thanks.

The Helper has come,
He who stays,
to convict the world,
showing God’s ways.
Spirit of Truth,
He who reveals,
indwelling the heart,
faith, eternally sealed.

The beauty of God,
it can’t all be seen.
His majesty high,
our sin between.
Thus came the Son,
arrayed as our Light.
That all may view,
God’s beauty full sight.

Prayer Life Pause: Lord Jesus, You are the Light of mankind. Help me to reflect Your light to others that, through me, they may see Your loving hope and salvation. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Christ our Lord would so deign,
down to man He humbly came.
To seek and save that which was lost,
and all at such a dear high cost.
Yet love would not let Him stay,
aloft in heav’n while we had strayed.
By faith in Christ now You may rise,
and reach the blessed eternal prize.

Jesus, Thou Joy of loving hearts,
Thou Fount of life, Thou Light of men,
From the best bliss that earth imparts,
We turn unfilled to Thee again.
We taste Thee, O Thou living Bread,
And long to feast upon Thee still;
We drink of Thee, the Fountain-head,
And thirst our souls from Thee to fill!
Our restless spirits yearn for Thee,
Where’er our changeful lot is cast;
Glad when Thy gracious smile we see,
Blest, when our faith can hold Thee fast.
O Lord, be Thou our strength and stay!
Make all our moments calm and bright,
Chase all dark thoughts of sin away,
Shed o’er us here Thy holy light.
~ Bernard of Clairvaux
One from old, Whose love so bold, Death can't hold, His life extolled, Sin's blindfold, Feels so cold, Salvation told, Faith's remold, In Christ's fold, Streets of gold.

Dwelling in unapproachable light, the Daystar who scatters all of the night. Our Alpha, Omega; No beginning, no end, Oh Righteous King, the sinner's best Friend. Ransom, Refiner, Refuge and Rock, Great Shepherd You are, to Thee must we flock. Promised before, as Abraham's Seed, Fulfilled in Thy Word, You satisfy our need. Fountain of Love and Chief Cornerstone, Sacrificial Lamb cries out death's groan. Prophet, Redeemer, Son Most High, Let us flee to Thee Savior, lest we all die.

The love and mercy,
that was shown,
when Christ our God,
left His thrown.
For me to come,
donned in flesh,
that I through Him,
‘scape second death.
Worship the babe,
praise the King,
now through eternity,
forever I sing!
When we are weak
When strength has failed
When life seems bleak
When we're assailed
Then it's time
To lean on Him
When all around
Appears most grim
Christ our hope
Our Rock Our Way
He draws us near
When we're astray
Never doubt
What faith can do
When placed in Him
His love's for you

Simple faith, desires to please; Bows its head, bend its knees. Longs for grace, to seek God's face. Sustains the weak, stops our stumble. In the eyes of Christ, such faith is dear; It's free to all, who will draw near.
