Very good quote! I agree with BT. It’s disconcerting, to say the very least, that the church of today does not appear to take in the WHOLE counsel of God.

Pet doctrines, where the church teaches one truth with little regard to the “whole counsel of God” and often even the whole context of Scripture is a dangerous way of falling into error.
